A Visionary Leader in Youth Development
Olakolupo Oluwasegun AKINBODE (OmoAkin) is the Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Osun State Chapter, and a dynamic and influential figure hailing from the Sawe Dynasty in Ilesha, Osun State. He is widely recognized for his unwavering dedication to youth empowerment, community development, and societal transformation.
His multifaceted career, spanning youth advocacy, girls’ child initiatives, entrepreneurship, and public service, has firmly established him as a driving force for positive change across Osun State and beyond.

Vice President, National Association of Osun State Students (NAOSS), National Headquarters; organized the Ife/Ijesa Students Empowerment Programme themed 'Rethink', impacting over 1,500 students.
2017
Graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Economics from Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED).
2022 – 2024
Served as Chairman, Nigerian Youth Congress (NYC), Osun State Chapter; championed major campaigns against cultism, drug abuse, and cybercrime, and launched the 'Educate a Child, Save Our Future' project.
2024
Appointed to the Osun State Food Security Committee by His Excellency Governor Ademola Adeleke; served as Nigerian Project Coordinator for the Annie Gift Foundation.

Served on the Central Planning Committee and as Secretary of sub-committees for the 10th-year coronation anniversary of HRM Oba Dr. Michael Odunayo Ajayi, Arowotawaya II, The Elerinmo of Erinmo-Ijesha.

Emerged following a keenly contested election and assumed office as Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Osun State Chapter.

Conferred as a distinguished Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Leadership, Management and Manpower Development (FCILMMD).
