Olakolupo’s deep-seated commitment to education is clearly evident in his numerous impactful initiatives. During his time as Vice President of the National Association of Osun State Students (NAOSS), National Headquarters, 2016/2017, he successfully organized the Ife/Ijesa Students Empowerment Programme themed “Rethink,” which positively impacted the lives of over one thousand five hundred (1,500+) students.
Furthermore, spearheading the 'Educate a Child, Save Our Future' campaign distributing thousands of exercise books to pupils across Osun State as the National Youth Congress Chairman, with Dr (Mrs) Alhaja Baliski AKINLEYE.
Recognizing the critical importance of nurturing future leaders, he founded The Trailblazers, a dynamic youth organization dedicated to developing the leadership potential of young people through targeted mentorship programmes, engaging workshops, and comprehensive training sessions.

Driven by his profound passion for youth empowerment and development, Olakolupo was encouraged to contest for the esteemed position of Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN). The NYCN serves as the apex and umbrella body for youth organizations in Nigeria.
Following a keenly contested election, Olakolupo emerged as Chairman of the NYCN, Osun State Chapter, and assumed office in February 2025. His election and leadership have further expanded his responsibilities in coordinating and representing youth organizations across Osun State.
Under his leadership, the Council continues to promote youth participation, empowerment, leadership development, education, employment opportunities, and constructive engagement between young people and government and other stakeholders.
Currently, Olakolupo is actively leading Osun youth towards greater opportunities and achievements. His consistent efforts and dedication have earned him recognition among young people and stakeholders across the state, with some youth referring to him as the “Governor of Osun Youth” as an expression of their regard for his leadership.
